These are the Days // 365 Daily Photo Project - June 2018

June flew, as all the months seem to do! Our month started sans kids (well sans our kids, because we have lots of little nieces and nephews) in Alberta at my sister in-law's wedding, where I was a bridesmaid and my husband was the emcee. We were only there for 3 nights, and it was a really quick trip!

This month was also the last month of school, so my daughter is done Grade 1, and my middle one also turned 5 this month (Star Wars party, but I slacked on the photos). They're getting so big! I was able to go to a women's retreat at Rockridge Canyon, which is so beautiful, and it was such a great break for me!

My mom (who lives next door) was away for the whole month, and Jonathan was away for 4 nights as well, so my Mother in Law came for a visit with my 9 year old nephew from Alberta and stayed at my mom's place. I was on-call for a few births (which of course never happened haha) and appreciated the extra help! We did a few fun things since my nephew had never seen the ocean or Aquarium before, so he enjoyed himself. It was also his first time on a plane, which was so cute!

My daughter also finished Grade 1 this month (😭) and got her ear pierced. She did one side and then decided she didn't want the other done, which was totally fine! She can choose if/when she wants to do the other side, and it was a great, positive lesson on consent, which I loved. She also started up horseback riding lessons again with her friend, and I was able to go watch while my mother-in-law was here visiting.

And what is June without berry picking at Krause Berry Farms!?
