The Baron Family - Half Day in the Life | Abbotsford BC

Angela and I met when we both got invited down to Creative Live to see Kirsten Lewis teach her class called Family Photography: Creating a successful business a few months ago. It was a really great experience and I’m so so happy I decided to leave my babies and attend! I made some amazing connections and community and learned so so much.

Angela and I chatted briefly down in Seattle about trading sessions since we live about 30 minutes away from each other, I wanted to do a DITL of her family for their upcoming move, but it just didn’t work out. So I posted in a local photography group that I was looking to do a documentary session trade because I wanted someone to photograph our family cutting down our Christmas tree this year for the first time (can't wait to get our photos!) and Angela volunteered!

The week after our session, I did a half day for her as well. I got there before her kids woke up (thank goodness they don’t wake up as early as my kids), and it was so amazing being able to capture the craziness of morning and leaving the house with 4 kids. Angela has identical twin 3 year old girls (who had decided to cut each other’s hair a couple weeks prior 😂😭) and 2 older boys who are 5 and 7. They just moved in to the home they built, which was stunning and huge, which made it a bit extra special.

Once everyone was up, dad made breakfast and everyone had a lazy (also crazy?) Saturday morning spending time together until it was time to get ready to go to the local adorable little candy store.

After the candy store, Angela bought her kids surprise sour candies and made them all line up and pop them in their mouths at the same time.
